Nella 12esima edizione dei BAFTA Games Adwards (i premi britannici assegnati annualmente dalla British Academy of Film and Television Arts) a trionfare è stato Fallout 4, l’action RPG marchiato Bethesda, battendo tra gli altri candidati anche Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain e The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Tra i grandi trionfatori di questi BAFTA Games Awards 2016 Rocket League, che si porta a casa il titolo di miglior multiplayer, miglior gioco per la categoria sport e miglior gioco per famiglie, e Her Story, vincitore della categoria miglior gioco debuttante, miglior gioco per dispositivi mobile e miglior gioco innovativo.
Tornano invece a casa con tante nomination ma senza nemmeno un premio grossi titoli quali The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain e Destiny: The Taken King.
